When is a Flood Risk Assessment Required?

A formal Flood Risk Assessment is legally required for any proposed development in Flood Zones 2 or 3, or for sites exceeding 1 hectare in Flood Zone 1, as well as those in Critical Drainage Areas or locations identified at high risk of surface water flooding.

Our reports not only satisfy planning and lender requirements without revision, but where risks are present they provide clear, costed, and deliverable mitigation strategies, enabling safe, insurable, and consentable development.

With SiteVanguard, flood risk becomes a managed variable rather than an unknown liability
